太空堡壘卡拉狄加》（Battlestar Galactica）是一出在2003年12月8日于美國科幻頻道（Sci Fi Channel）上開播的美國科幻迷你電視系列劇（Miniseries），與之后在2004年10月18日于英國Sky One電視頻道上首播的一個系列電視系列劇。這一系列的電視系列劇其實(shí)都是以1978年時一出極受歡迎的科幻電影《太空堡壘卡拉狄加》與其之后一系列同名電視系列劇為藍(lán)本，加以改編翻拍而成，并且成為科幻電視臺有史以來最賣座的自制電視系列劇。
　　故事背景于未來世界，人類已由地球移民到其它星系居住；人們?yōu)榱素澢笏接汩_始研究及制造一種擁有獨(dú)立思想及感覺的機(jī)械人 - Cylons 來為人類服務(wù)。但人們怎樣也想不到，這些本應(yīng)是幫助人類的機(jī)械人竟會調(diào) 轉(zhuǎn)頭對抗自已，因此，人類與自已制造的機(jī)械人之戰(zhàn)爭便開始展開...
　　在經(jīng)過數(shù)十年漫長、死傷無數(shù)的戰(zhàn)爭結(jié)朿后，人們本以為可得到和平的生活，但 Cylons 明白到即使在休戰(zhàn)后始終沒辨法與人類建立實(shí)際的外交關(guān)系，故 Cylons 開始密?#092;另一個對付人類的計劃，這次它們將會制造一些與人類一模一樣的機(jī)械人作間碟滲入人類世界，從而以里應(yīng)外合的方法把人類消滅。
