第84屆奧斯卡最佳影片、最佳導演、最佳配樂獎、最佳服裝設計獎和最佳男演員5項大獎。   這是一部黑白片，故事發生在1927年的好萊塢，男主角George Valentin是一個默片明星，瀟灑又優秀的舞蹈演員。有聲時代來臨之后，一切發生了變化。   藝術家 - 幕后花絮  影片中出現了很多經典電影的經典橋段，包括《一個明星的誕生》、《雨中曲》等等，導演還把用主人公喬治作放進了影中影1920年的默片《佐羅的標記》中。  片中喬治聰明伶俐的寵物狗杰克會令人聯想起《丁丁歷險記》中的米盧（白雪），這也是導演再像比利時漫畫家埃爾熱致敬.
